Freshers week ready!

Are you ready for the start of the upcoming academic year? Even though it might feel overwhelming, you’re going to have lots of opportunities to get acclimated to your new surroundings.

You have the opportunity to make unforgettable memories with people that will be in your life for a long time. Try to have an open mind and discover new passions you wouldn’t be able to experience without these moments.

Explore your campus, even if you aren’t living in the residence halls. It is still more than a place to attend classes, so take advantage of the community. Familiarise yourself with the layout so you can be the most at ease as the year progresses.

These first couple weeks are about socialisation and participating in any extracurricular activities. Explore your interests and find clubs to join that align with your interests and goals. It’s always exciting to meet people who also have the same hobbies as you, and you’re likely to meet lots of new friends this way.

Even though there could be some challenges you’ll face throughout the academic year, remember that this is natural and you will be even more resilient as you tackle them.

So now that you’re ready to start the year, make sure you don’t miss any of the freshers events before the college work starts to keep you busy. Here are some options for you!

Happy freshers week!
